Meet Joe Paneque, a Dispositions Agent here at Entera.
Joe has worked as a Negotiator on Entera’s Acquisitions and Dispositions teams since September 2021. He currently is selling homes in multiple markets for our clients, taking the properties from listing to close. Let’s learn more about Joe!
Where are you located? I work remotely from and live in Orlando, Florida.
What are you working on right now? In addition to my daily job functions at Entera, I am currently helping improve internal processes for our department to operate more efficiently. I am also working to obtain a real estate license in a few more states.
What do you like most about working at Entera? The best part is the people I have the opportunity to work with, I couldn't ask for a better work environment. I also appreciate the opportunities to pursue several different job functions and l love that I am able to learn something new everyday.
Who or what inspired you to pursue the career you have today? I’ve worked in and around the Real Estate industry since I was 18 and knew from early on that this is an industry I would want to excel in. I started in general construction, then moved into residential and commercial property inspections, land acquisitions, property development, and now SFR acquisitions and dispositions.
How do you like to start your day (morning routine)? Every morning starts with a breath of fresh air outside walking my dog, Luna. I also cannot start my day without a nice cup of coffee.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I hope to continue to be in a position where I am able to help innovate and improve our company's business functions. I also want to continue to be a part of a driving force that is helping revolutionize the RE industry as a whole.
How do you stay informed and up-to-date on trends within your industry or role? I am constantly reading news articles and watching videos about the RE industry, financial markets, and economy as a whole. I have CNBC running in the background all day! I also enjoy the monthly housing market webinars hosted by John Burns Research and Consulting.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career? Search for something that makes you excited to wake up everyday and don’t be afraid to try new things. Once you find something you love, be the best you can at it.
What is one of the toughest challenges you’ve had to overcome at work? Jumping into a new role with extreme volume. Learning something new is difficult as it is, but when you are flooded with the workload at the same time, it can definitely be a challenge. However, there's no better way to become great at something, in my opinion.
How have you grown professionally while at Entera? One of the best takeaways from my time at Entera is just the sheer amount of knowledge I have gained throughout my time here. Sometimes I feel as though I am being paid to go to school; it’s great! I am grateful for the opportunities given to me to show what I am capable of.
Tell us something about you that many of your colleagues don’t know (fun fact). Fun fact - I still own the same truck I’ve had since I was 15 years old. The truck is also about as old as I am and I will never sell it!
What motivates you? How do you stay motivated at work? One of my biggest motivations is the ability to expand the Entera brand and help solidify our reputation in the industry. I strive to do my best in anything I do so that when people think of Entera, they think of quality, professionalism, and innovation.
What are you currently binge-watching or binge-reading? I’m always binge watching random documentaries!
Favorite hobby, favorite food, and/or favorite travel destination: I love going on hikes, walking my dog, mountain biking, essentially anything outdoors. I love to travel and do it as much as I can. My favorite travel destination so far was Thailand. I cannot name a favorite food as I just love eating so much, and I think I spend way too much money on restaurants!

Ketchup or ranch? Ketchup. I am not a fan of ranch…
Beach or mountains? Living in FL you would think I would say beaches, however, I love the mountains. I would love to live somewhere where I can go hiking on a regular basis.
Aisle or window seat on an airplane? I ALWAYS book a window seat. I’m like a little kid in that respect, I love to look out the window. It never gets old.
Pineapple on pizza, yes or no? I won’t judge you if you put pineapple on your pizza - but please keep it off of mine!
Pepsi or Coca Cola? Coke. Always.
Crunchy or smooth peanut butter? Smoooooth.
Is a hot dog a sandwich? A hot dog is a hot dog haha. It may be considered a sandwich but I have never called it that. I guess it’s technically a meat between two breads…
Messy desk or clean desk? Unfortunately, a messy desk, but I like to consider it organized chaos.
Guacamole or salsa? Guac, please!!
Favorite season? I live in FL so it’s always hot, therefore I really appreciate winter months even if it’s only cold for a few weeks here!
